CONSTRUCTION OF RAINWATER HARVESTING

In the tribal areas of Uttarakhand, like Tehri Garhwal, where women have suffered because of the rituals prevailing there, like earning. So society has been working for six years to protect and promote the income generation program. We are maximally operating these programs in some districts of Uttarakhand, like Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri, Pauri, and Dehradun.

In this duration society were identified and WF knowledge was enhanced in if 8 days and 2 months  training in embroidery and block- Rudrapur; 30 trainer of district Tehri Garhwal in block Chamba and 40 trainers of ihe district Dehradun in Raipur and Doiwala block participate.

During the year 2014-2015 society organized various programs for the community in the various districts, such as Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal etc.

THE ACTIVITIES ARE DESCRIBED AS UNDER.

a) Work shop:  From 15-16 June 2015 two days work shop was organized at Udham sing Nagar in which 40 member from uttarakhand participated. In this work shop Dr. Kavita and Kayvera from final and 4 other institution from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand also participated. The main object of this work shop were as follow-:

  1. To build up capacity and confidence among SHG.
  2. To promote Eco- Friendly Toilet.
  3.  To compile and protect knowledge of the society.
  4. To prevent diseases at local level.

On the inauguration Dr. R.K Suri gave information about Eco- sanitation, horticulture. Arun Bahuguna gave presentation on the Eco-Friendly Toilets, Agriculture  & Hotriculture at National level.

In work-shop Dr. Kavita gave  information about being run on health all over India by Parayavaran Evam Bhartiya Gramin Vikas Takniki Samiti and how beneficiary can be part of success. On detailed discussion she said that the aim of Government to provide good health to all the people can not be completed without knowledge. Kayvera from finaland gave information about views of people in finland about Health system and how various institution are working on traditional health system. He also thanked society and SHG for their work and making available cheap and easily available medicines to local people in villages as well as urban areas, which is providing good health without any side effect in this way they benefited each other.
