Society constructed several rain water harvesting ferro cement tanks in the many villages of Dehradun district and Tehri Gharwal ( Uttarakhand ) with the support and envolment of panchayat and local contribution, because large amount of rain water run into the river and not harvest properly or useful purposes. Hence this organization has been taken an effective way to tackle the problems of water shortage specially in the hill areas and another most important fector is of controlling floods and sharp soil erosion.
